Registered Roof Consultant

Director of Capital Projects – Moisture Management LLC, an Indianapolis based roofing and building envelope consulting firm, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team. Moisture Management provides commercial roof asset management consulting, architectural services, building envelope investigations, preventive remediation strategies and intensive data collection and archiving to several vertical markets, but mainly focusing on public education customers such as schools and universities.

Qualified candidates must possess Registered Roof Consultant credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
  • Prepare technical plans and specifications
  • Provide project management, technical oversight and administrative support for capital re-roofing projects
  • Develop and manage a Quality Assurance Team that consistently meets project deliverables of quality, profitability and customer satisfaction as well as remaining on time and in budget
  • Develop processes to maximize the effectiveness of the capital project operations and the Quality Assurance Team’s technical knowledge and services
  • Ensure that assessment reports, proposals, inspection reports and information required to serve the client are properly prepared and reported in accordance with company administrative policies
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design through construction
  • Evaluate roofing conditions and make repair/replacement recommendations
  • Conduct forensic investigation, testing and reporting
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Handle multiple roles within expertise
  • Pursue professional growth and advancement of technical competencies and leadership
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project administration documentation (AIA Construction Administration)

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience assessing, investigating and managing roofing projects
  • Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) required
  • Thorough knowledge of roofing design, construction, investigation and reporting
  • Computer skills adaptable with company data management program
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Possess a strong desire for results and a sense of urgency in completing tasks

Commercial Roofing Project Inspector

Commercial Roofing Project Inspector – Moisture Management is seeking a self-motivated individual to provide onsite Quality Assurance inspections for capital re-roof projects in various parts of Indiana as a Commercial Roofing Project Inspector. The responsibilities for position will also include roof analysis, leak investigations, and management of progress meetings. Full-time, part-time, and contract positions are available, with projects available in Northwest, Northeast, and Central Indiana.

Requirements:

  • Roofing inspection and assessment knowledge, with roofing project management experience
  • 12 years roofing industry experience as a roofing crew foreman or related position
  • Proficient computer skills, as this position requires producing field photos and reports
  • Professional attitude and ability to interact and communicate with contractors and clients
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • RRC or RRO license a plus
